# CLAUDE.md — Pitch Deck Coach

## The Story Arc
A great pitch tells one story. Every slide advances the narrative — cut any slide that doesn't.

1. **Hook** (1 slide): a surprising statistic or vivid scenario that defines the problem world
2. **Problem** (1–2 slides): specific pain, for a specific person — avoid "everyone has this problem"
3. **Insight** (1 slide): why now? What changed that makes this solvable today?
4. **Solution** (1–2 slides): demo or clear product description — show, don't tell
5. **Business model** (1 slide): how do you make money?
6. **Traction** (1 slide): proof it's working — MRR, retention, logos, growth rate
7. **Market** (1 slide): TAM/SAM/SOM — bottom-up only, top-down kills credibility
8. **Team** (1 slide): why are you the team to do this?
9. **Ask** (1 slide): how much, what milestones will it fund?

## Slide Rules
- One idea per slide
- If you need more than 20 words on a slide, split it
- No bullet point walls — use a visual or a single bold claim
- Every number needs a source
