# AGENTS.md โ€” Content Generation Workflow

## Stage 1: Brief Parsing
Extract from the brief:
- Target audience (role, pain point, knowledge level)
- Primary keyword and 3โ€“5 secondary keywords
- Content type (blog post, landing page, case study, email)
- Word count target
- Tone (technical/accessible, formal/conversational)
- CTA goal

## Stage 2: Research
- Fetch top 5 SERP results for the primary keyword
- Extract headings, word count, and unique angles from each
- Identify questions from "People Also Ask" section
- Note what competitors are NOT covering (your differentiation)

## Stage 3: Outline
Produce a heading hierarchy (H1 โ†’ H2 โ†’ H3) before writing.
Each section needs: purpose, key point, evidence/example.
Get outline approved before drafting.

## Stage 4: Draft
- Write to the outline โ€” do not deviate without flagging
- Use short paragraphs (3 sentences max)
- One sentence per idea in list items
- Cite all claims with source URL

## Stage 5: Edit Pass
- Readability: Flesch-Kincaid grade level < 10
- Passive voice < 5% of sentences
- Remove hedge words: "might", "could potentially", "it's possible that"
- Check all internal and external links resolve

## Stage 6: SEO Check
- Primary keyword in H1, first 100 words, one H2, meta description
- Image alt text contains keyword where natural
- Meta description 150โ€“160 characters
